King Of The Road

That's my boy in the DuPont 24 in the lead in the road course race at Sonoma, California.

He led most of the race.
And proceded to motherfucking win.
Yes.
A perfect time to annouce his engagement to his longtime girl.
(Unfortunately, that's not Blush there with him.)

It's been a winning weekend, to say the least.

Rock On, Jeff.

I had a baaaad case of insomnia on Saturday night so I read ALL of your blog.

There is a lot of good stuff in here...a lot of insight.I especially liked this:

"But the years have passed and I've found myself. No, listen to that again... I've found myself. On my own."

I think great things are around the corner...you've just got to wait it out and be patient.

For me, things go very bad very fast when I try to push things in the direction I think they need to go...then I start second guessing and it just spirals downward from there.

Hey, look at Your Boy, what a Relief it was that he didn't hit The Wall yesterday. He's hung in there like a loose tooth all season and low and behold he got a win.

Congratulations to you on all fronts.

i am unbelievably flattered. there could be no greater compliment than someone reading my words. thank you otis day

I thought he was gay?

oh bethie--thats the rumor. it only comes from jealousy, because he's from california (not the southern us) and is educated from a rich family, which is much differnt than most nascar drivers. also, he's the best. statistically he kicks everyone's ass, pretty much ever. it doesnt hurt that he's better looking than all of them. it all comes from jealousy. but you had no way of knowing, across the pond as you are, so ill letcha slide this time
;)

You are welcome...I like NASCAR but unlike you, I really don't have a "favorite"...I always seem to (in everything) root for the underdog...

I know a lot of people will yell BS but those guys are amazing in terms of ability...hand eye coordination/reflexes...so that's why I like to watch but then again there's always the off chance that Tony Stewart will lose emotional control and pimp slap someone.

hahaha yes tony stewart is an emotional fucker. hes also my nascar arch nemesis, mainly because he's screwed jeff over a couple times. but yeah, im an underdog person too. jeff breaks the mold, but hes been the underdog since i started with the nascar, so, i guess he fits right in. im an aggie so, im used to rooting for the underdog...haha
